Medical assessment
Every request is personally assessed by a BIG-registered doctor, including your symptoms and medical history.

At BioBlue, a doctor assesses your symptoms, your medical history and, if you've taken a BlueTest, your blood values from your Health Passport. That way, your treatment fits your stage of life and your symptoms.

Every request is personally assessed by a BIG-registered doctor, including your symptoms and medical history.

Gel, spray, capsules, tablets or a patch: the doctor decides which form suits your stage and symptoms.

Your symptoms may change. The doctor reviews with you whether your treatment is still appropriate.

Treatments are currently only available for customers in the Netherlands. Our doctors and partner pharmacy work under Dutch regulations.
If the doctor decides the treatment is not suitable for you, you'll be notified and receive a full refund of the amount paid for the treatment.
Hormone therapy is mainly used for symptoms around the menopause. Whether a treatment suits your situation is assessed by the doctor based on your symptoms, your medical history and, where relevant, your blood values.
Yes. Your treatment runs in periods of 4 weeks and you can cancel it via your account. If in doubt, consult the doctor first before you stop your treatment.
That differs per person and per treatment. The doctor will discuss with you what you can realistically expect and when an evaluation makes sense.
Hormone therapy supplements hormones that your body produces less of around the menopause, such as oestrogen, sometimes in combination with progesterone. The doctor decides whether a form is right for you, and if so, which one, and explains how to use it. Always read the patient information leaflet as well.
Start the intake, answer the medical questions and indicate your preference. You pay at checkout, after which a doctor assesses your request. Your treatment is only shipped after approval.
Hormone therapy is prescription-only. It is only supplied if a BIG-registered doctor (Dutch medical register) assesses, after your medical intake, that the treatment is safe and suitable for you. A treatment is never guaranteed.
Hormone therapy is not suitable for everyone, for example if you have (a history of) certain types of cancer, thrombosis or liver conditions. That's why you should always state your medical history and all medication you use in the intake. Read the patient information leaflet before use and follow the doctor's instructions. More information is available at apotheek.nl (in Dutch).
