What is BioBlue?
BioBlue is one platform for your health: an at-home blood test covering 35+ biomarkers, your results clearly laid out in your Health Passport, personalised supplements based on your blood values and, where needed, medical care from a doctor.
Where do I start?
With the intake. In a few minutes you answer questions about your goals and health, and you receive a personalised proposal: a blood test, supplements and/or a medical route. You decide which combination you choose.
Does BioBlue replace my GP?
No. BioBlue gives you insight and guidance, but it does not replace your GP. If you have symptoms or an abnormal result, discuss this with your GP.
Blood test
How does the BlueTest work?
You order the test online and receive the test kit at home. With a small shoulder prick you collect a little blood yourself and send it to the laboratory in the return packaging. Your results then appear in your Health Passport.
Which values are measured?
The BlueTest gives you insight into 35+ biomarkers: 35 for men and 36 for women. They are grouped into 9 health domains: heart and vascular health, hormones, thyroid, metabolism and blood sugar, inflammation and immune function, kidney function, liver and proteins, nutrients and iron, and blood health. How much does the blood test cost?
A single BlueTest costs €269.95. If you test regularly, choose a subscription: every 12 months (€249.95 per test), every 6 months (€229.95 per test) or every 4 months (€209.95 per test). All prices include VAT. View the options.
How does payment work with a subscription?
You pay per test. You pay for the first test when you order; after that, the amount is charged automatically at the start of each new test period and you receive a new BlueTest. You will always see the subscription terms before checkout.
Is the result a medical diagnosis?
No. The blood test gives you insight into your values, but it is not a medical diagnosis. Always discuss abnormal results with your GP.
Supplements
How does the supplement card work?
Based on your blood values and intake, you can see which supplements fit your plan. You choose what goes on your card. Your supplements are packed per day and delivered every 28 days. Read how it works.
How much do the supplements cost?
The supplement card costs €39.95 per 28 days, plus €5.00 per supplement you choose. With four supplements, that comes to €59.95 per 28 days.
Are supplements a substitute for healthy food?
No. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Treatments
How does a medical treatment work?
You complete a medical intake, similar to a consultation with your GP, and choose your treatment. You pay at checkout. A doctor registered in the Dutch BIG register then reviews your request. Only after approval is your treatment shipped discreetly by a partner pharmacy. Treatments are currently only available in the Netherlands.
What if the doctor does not approve my request?
Then you will be notified and we will refund the full amount for the treatment.
Can I order a treatment without an intake?
No. Prescription treatments are only provided after a medical intake and review by a doctor. A treatment is never guaranteed.
Which areas can BioBlue help with?
Currently weight loss, hormone therapy, testosterone therapy, hair loss, sexual health and acne. Treatments are currently only available in the Netherlands. View all treatments.
Ordering and payment
When do I pay?
You pay for everything you order straight away at checkout: your blood test, your supplements and any treatments. If the doctor does not approve a treatment, you will receive a full refund of that amount.
How do I manage my subscription?
You manage subscriptions for blood tests, supplements and treatments in your account. You will always see the terms, such as any minimum term, before checkout.
